Tata Motors has recently announced the bookings for the 2024 facelifts of Tata Harrier and Safari, and these two modern SUVs are set to be launched in the coming weeks. There are more than enough people curious about the arrival of these new models, as they will have many interesting and important updates.
Interior Update:
The 2024 facelift of the Tata Harrier and Safari will get a major interior update. These will include a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument console, a new 4-spoke steering wheel with a larger Tata logo, and entry ambient lighting. Along with this, there will also be a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, which will include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interface.
New instrument console:
These facelifted models will have a new instrument console, which will feature an all-digital instrument cluster. The console could also grow to include a larger 12.3-inch unit.
Premium Dashboard Update:
The dashboard layout of the 2024 models of Tata Harrier and Safari will remain intact but will have a new glass panel in place of the fake wood trim. This will give a more premium leather finish experience.
New center console:
Like the updated Nexon and Nexon EV, it will also get touch-based climate control, which will include a new rotary drive selector in the new center console and a new gear lever.
Several visual updates:
The front fascia of both SUVs gets significant updates and is heavily inspired by the Harrier EV concept. Each model has distinctive appeal, such as the grille section at the wide front end, the narrow LED lighting bar running across the width along with the split LED headlamp cluster, the muscular bonnet, new design alloy wheels, and the fast LED tail lamps.
Engine Powertrain:
These new models will have a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which can generate maximum power of 170ps and peak torque of 350nm. You will be able to pair it with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter AT. Apart from this, Tata also has a new DI petrol engine and an electric variant of Harrier, the details of which have been known through the teaser video.
